WE LOVE TO SEE OUR PATIENTS SMILE.
What Dr. Silberman did is a miracle. I’m a different person. It’s impossible to compare with what my mouth looked like before. I have a Hollywood smile.
—Ellina D., patient for five years
Rick had extensive dental work done over the years, but never in a comprehensive manner. He and I laid out a plan that would ultimately take several years to complete. I restored his overall bite with crowns (caps) and Rick just loves what we’ve done. He wanted to achieve our goals without looking like he went to a “cosmetic dentist”. I, along with my dental ceramist, were able to give him a properly functioning, natural appearance.
Jen hated her smile. In fact, she learned how to smile without showing her teeth. Her teeth were worn and she had a “gummy” appearance. We first did a “gum lift” procedure and then placed crowns (caps) on 10 upper teeth. She is so happy with the outcome and so am I! She says that we’ve changed her life! I am thrilled to be able to provide this kind of service to my patients!
Erin had her front tooth crowned (capped) a number of years ago, but was never happy with how it looked. She asked her new dentist to change it, but was told that it would be too difficult to properly match the other front tooth. Through word of mouth, she came to my office and I replaced her crown with a new one. I love happy patients!
This very busy physician had been considering fixing his teeth for a while, but never made the time to do so. In 2 appointments, we changed how his teeth looked, but equally important, they function much better as well. Notice that his lower front teeth are taller and more level than before. This will provide a more predictable function that will allow for healthy longevity for these restorations. One of my favorite expressions is ” form follows function”.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Not only do I love creating beautiful smiles that others can enjoy, I love placing fillings in back teeth that blend in beautifully with the tooth to create invisible restorations. Here, I’ve removed a silver filling and replaced it with a resin based restoration. Dentistry is an art as well as a science!
This tradeshow spokesman wanted a nicer smile while speaking to hundreds of people at conventions. I placed porcelain veneers on his upper and lower teeth and his smile now looks great! Dentistry can change lives!
Pete’s esthetic concerns were obvious. He had a bridge made for a missing front tooth and his remaining teeth are discolored from tetracycline staining. I replaced his bridge with an implant and new crowns, and also placed porcelain veneers on his other teeth. My goal is to make my patient’s teeth just look like nice, healthy, natural teeth.
This 20-year-old college student and Ultimate Frisbee team member had an unfortunate collision with a competitor which caused extensive damage to his teeth. Restoring his smile required a root canal and crowns on the far right broken tooth, another crown on the left front tooth, and direct porcelain veneer on the right front tooth. I whitened all of Ed’s teeth before making the crowns to ensure great color match and the look of white, healthy teeth. For a young man with a long life ahead of him, it was a great solution.
Brian is a 15 year old who just had his braces removed and unfortunately had a great deal of decay on all his upper front teeth. I restored his teeth using a tooth colored resin material along with some underlying color modifiers. Isn’t the result beautiful? Brian can now smile with confidence. Sometimes great dentistry calls for artistic talent!
Irina, at age 39, had had enough of her small, dark teeth—she wanted a bigger, whiter smile. I restored all of the teeth that are visible in Irina’s “smile line,” applying porcelain veneers to 10 top teeth and 10 lower teeth. Irina now loves her smile.
Susan is a highly successful 55-year-old senior executive for a Fortune 500 company, yet she rarely smiled. She guarded against revealing her darkened, stained bonded teeth. I whitened all of Susan’s teeth and applied 10 porcelain veneers to her visible top teeth to reshape and brighten them. Now she smiles confidently and often.
All this 40-year-old mom wanted was a nice smile. She’d had bonding done—tooth colored material applied directly to the teeth and shaped—but after 5 years, the material was stained, worn and just didn’t look good. She chose porcelain veneers to replace the bonding, a predictable, long-term solution that lasts a very long time. Note that Colleen’s right front tooth is a dental implant, often a challenge to match to porcelain veneers. I was able to perfectly match the implant to the veneers for a bright, natural smile.
